Amphitheater & Floating Stage Pedestrian Bridge Food Court San Diego Trolley & Bus Station Festival Park

Festival Park is the newest entertainment venue at Market Creek Plaza. Located beside Where the World Meets, Festival Park is an extension of the multicultural gift store’s cultural learning and expression.

The park is home to seven cultural houses reflective of the groups in the Diamond Neighborhoods of southeastern San Diego: Laotian, Samoan, Somalian, Sudanese, African American, Filipino, and Mexican. Designed in partnership with the International Outreach team, a group with representatives from the cultures in the community, the houses are made to resemble a traditional home from each region.

The cultural houses host workshops and demonstrations that share the traditions, foods, arts, and crafts native to their countries. Behind the houses is a large grassy area, perfect for hosting children's activities and events.
