Inside Market Creek Plaza

Public Safety

A team of Public Safety Ambassadors has the job of making your visit to Market Creek Plaza enjoyable and secure. Led by site supervisor Duane Phillips, our Public Safety Ambassadors welcome visitors to the Plaza, provide security, encourage cleanliness, and assist the Plaza's businesses and events.

Easily identified in their maroon shirts, the Public Safety Ambassadors create an atmosphere of safety for you as you dine, shop, or work out. If you need assistance while at the Plaza, seek out one of these friendly faces to give you a hand.

Special Event Security
Duane also works in cooperation with Kelly Steppe, owner of K-Tech Security, to make Market Creek Plaza special events a success.

Steppe is very committed to the community - the place she's called home her entire life.

The Plaza is in my neighborhood. I've watched it go from the abandoned Langley factory through demolition, to construction, to where it is now. I've got a lot of buy-in on this project." K-Tech provides late night and special event security that is highly visible and user-friendly. In 2003, K-Tech was named Business of the Year by the Diamond Business Improvement District.

By working together the Market Creek Plaza site staff and K-Tech ensure that residents have an ongoing sense of pride in the Plaza and what it brings to the community.
