Ellen Nash
Born and raised in Chollas View, Ellen has worked for the betterment of the community through both her civic and professional work. As the director of human resources for SDSU, she has worked with job development agencies to help people of color improve job and career-building skills, as well as working with inmates in prison transition programs. For the past few years, she has challenged disparities between under and over-achieving schools in the community through her work with the United Front for the Academic Achievement of African American Children.
