Beatriz Santana-Hernandez
As a third-grade teacher, Beatriz works tirelessly to help students and their parents. She inspires young people to pursue higher education and to be proud of their individual cultures and languages. She facilitates workshops to teach parents strategies for helping their children with reading, writing, and math, and has been a mentor with the Barrio Logan Institute mentoring program.
