Betty and Roosevelt Brown
For more than 25 years, the Browns have made a large impact on the community through the Reading Literacy Learning Program, hosted each year at the Balboa Park Organ Pavilion. They have given away more than 1,000,000 new books to children at the Organ Pavilion, apartment complexes, Boys and Girls Clubs, and other locations in need. They have served as advocates for education and role models for the community through contributions that have brought about outstanding results.
