Where the World Meets multicultural gift shop invites visitors to experience a world of unique gifts with its distinct and beautiful cultural products. From pottery and cultural attire to jewelry and home décor items, Where the World Meets is fast becoming one of San Diego's most popular multicultural shopping destinations.
The underlying purpose of the store is to serve as a doorway to opportunity for local micro-entrepreneurs — artisans and entrepreneurs who handcraft or import much of the merchandise available in the store. Where the World Meets' for-profit operation is combined with a non-profit capacity-building program to strengthen the micro-entrepreneurs.
